Weather in the north east is a curious thing. One day, it's 95 degrees and the humidity is so high it feels like I'm on the sea shore. The next day, we're drowning in a deluge of rain.

| My house plants are loving a reprieve from the heat. |
So now, I'm stuck inside, reading a book I'm pretty sure I already read but can't remember the end to and watching the rain pelt down. I tried to take my reading to a local coffee shop. I even did research ahead of time to find the best one in my area (too type-A to be spontaneous about a decision like that). But, the coffee shop, while lovely, was not heated enough. My wet shoes were a recipe for getting sick, so I read a couple of chapters, finished up my breakfast, and came home to fuzzy socks and my blanket. It's the first day it has felt like fall.

| I tried the matcha latte. A little too earthy tasting for me, but look at how pretty it looked! |
Right now, I'm thinking this is the perfect type of weather for some yoga and core work at home. My turf toe is acting up today, so I'll use that as my excuse to push off cardio to tomorrow morning (and not the fact that I look out at the rain and cringe at the thought of going back into it).
